Serve as contracted 3rd party System Administrator and ISSO for RHEL and Windows workstations in a secure lab environment – ensuring systems remain both compliant and ready for use by authorized individuals.Perform Nessus/SCAP/PowerStrux scans for customers to identify, document and mitigate vulnerabilities.Review and document policy and procedures in the SLCM (System Life Cycle Management) guidance documentation for customer security teams. Possess knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST guidelines required for integrating security and risk management procedures into the system development life cycle (SLCM). Familiarity with security best practices and principles needed to achieve compliance for security control assessments. Maintain, update and document policy changes to preserve Authority to Operate (ATO) for information systems.

•Serve as System Administrator managing servers and Windows/RHEL workstations across multiple closed labs. •Perform SCAP/Nessus scans to identify and patch vulnerabilities in accordance with DISA STIGS. •Manage/configure NAS devices, workstations, and server backup solutions. •Deploy patches and OS updates across domain joined Windows/RHEL machines utilizing PDQ Deploy, PowerShell, PuTTY, and MobaXterm/bash. •Deliver classified materials as a data transfer agent (DTA). •Configure and maintain user accounts within Active Directory for domain joined systems and document all changes made to system configuration. •Complete data transfers for customers as needed.

• Serve as Lead IT and Network Specialist supporting Kratos Huntsville facilities and personnel. • Maintain, create and manage active directory based user accounts and cryptography tokens for use with Cisco VPN services. • Provide IT support for remote access VPN services, ensuring clients are able to perform tasks at home in accordance with network security protocols. • Install network printers, Cisco IP phones, and internally networked HP server hardware. • Setup IP phones for new employees and service as needed. Setup and activated smart phones, and issued to personnel; provide support as needed. • Prepare laptop and desktop hardware for use by Kratos employees by setting up and configuring the required encryption software then connecting them to the network. • Maintain database records and keep track of distribution of all IT equipment. Keep records updated for new issue, turn-in, and disposal of IT equipment. • Ensure all IT systems are running at full capacity by answering daily customer help desk tickets to include: Windows troubleshooting, printers, network hardware/software, operating system updates, internet servicing. Regularly provide IT support to customers in person, by phone/email, and remotely, utilizing Webex and Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). • Regularly provide Video Teleconference (VTC) support. Provide guidance on monitor and teleconference setup. Provide support for hardware, cabling, and network setup, and any required troubleshooting.

Managed and maintained the barracks rooms of Marines. Handled check ins and check outs as they came, and ensured rooms remained clean during weekly cleanliness inspections.

In charge of a 3 man team during combat training. Responsible for the lives of 2 other marines and over $500k in classified gear. Carried out training exercises in preparation for deployments, while maintaining 100% team readiness.
