Engineer● Verify that all specifications contain correct and up to date documentation.● Contact Customer to ensure that the correct revisions and descriptions are on file.● Ensure internal conformity to Customer P.O., alert production and Quality of changes and revisions.Job Duties: Estimator:● Review Customer requests for part quotes.● Request build documentation from Customer.● Request clarification from Customer if specifications are not clear.● Determine shop capability to produce components.● Calculate estimated price for build and present to Customer in timely manner.

As Planner, My responsibilities included but were not limited to:• Determine any special processes that may be needed for the new production runs.• Generate work travelers.• Answer production questions in a timely manner.• Review and approve engineering drawings for production tooling.• Decide on how much time each operation should take for all jobs. (Standard hours for all assembly operations.)• Assist with production and scheduling to decide on resources required for production runs.• Serve as the efficiency engineer for an assigned program.• Constantly review production processes and suggest ways of improvement.• Decide on the sequence of job operations to to maximize efficiency.• Review engineering changes and decide on the impact to production.• Incorporate all affects due to engineering changes into scheduling and production systems.• Decide on material effects due to engineering changes and provide changes to purchasing.• Decide on the number of rework hours required due to engineering changes.• Review Purchase Orders for technical compliance to customer requirements
