I am a research scientist in the Optics and Photonics group of Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab. I have degrees in Physics (BS) and Mathematics (BS) from UMBC. I have interest/experience in geophysical fluid modeling and large-scale simulations of boundary layer interactions, as well as remote sensing and applied spectroscopy. In our part-time research through NASA/JCET, we are gaining a better understanding of hurricane intensification through simulation modeling, statistical variance scaling, and wavelet analysis - as the accuracy of trajectory models have far surpassed that of intensification models.
