My first year going to Kennesaw State University, me and 30 other guys started the football program from scratch. During that time as a student athlete, we won two conference championships, went to the quarterfinals twice, and broke the D1 record for most wins as a startup program. As I was playing collegiate football, I gained my Finance degree in three years and my Masters in Information Systems in the last two. I have done multiple internships over my summers as a student athlete, which include HCC Life (stop loss insurance), Northwestern Mutual (financial program), and most recently Southwestern Advantage (sales and communications). I can confidently say the experience and life skills I gained at Southwestern Advantage separated me from any competition in the workforce and allowed me to direct my path to success. Over the summer I personally managed my own business handling everything from the placement of the order, accounting, marketing, inventory, and personally delivering the orders. I communicated to over 3000 people from all walks of life, worked 80+ hours for fourteen weeks straight, finished top 5 in the company as a first year, and made a personal profit of twenty grand in one summer. My experiences at my other internships were beneficial; however, they did not challenge or separate me like Southwestern Advantage has done for my career. I am now a full-time recruiter at Southwestern Advantage and within the year have personally recruited and currently training my 10+ team.
