As a Life Coach at Anti-Recidivism Coalition (ARC), I support formerly incarcerated people in their reintegration and rehabilitation process, by conducting needs assessments, preparing service plans, running groups/meetings, and ensuring compliance with funding sources. I also monitor and document their progress, and collaborate with CDCR and CAL FIRE staff on transition planning. I have a strong focus on data management, using multiple databases to record and track case notes, intakes, group notes, and incident reports.I am passionate about restorative justice and social change, which led me to volunteer at ARC before joining as a staff member. I am also pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at UCLA, where I learn about the social and behavioral aspects of human interactions and societies. In addition, I have gained valuable administrative and research skills as a Student Office Support Assistant at UCLA School of Law, where I assist faculty and staff with various tasks, such as creating calendars, researching legal documentation, and providing technical support. I believe I can bring a unique perspective and a collaborative spirit to any team or organization that shares my values and goals.
