Aircraft Mechanic
CurrentIn this phase of my professional career arch, I am responsible for performing troubleshooting, repair, modifications, corrosion control, and preventive maintenance on aircraft and aircraft systems and subsystems. My core day-to-day responsibilities include: ⇰ Decommissioning, repairing, replacing, and installing aircraft components, including control surfaces, access panels, and landing gear doors.⇰ Leveraging operational knowledge of aircraft fuel systems, flight controls, engines, transmissions, and rotor systems.⇰ Servicing ground support equipment and executing inspections on all ground support equipment. A section of my key contributions and achievements in this role entail: ⇛ Conducted various scheduled inspections on Sikorsky CH53E Super Stallion, Bell UH1Y Huey, Bell AH-1W/Z Cobra, and Boeing MV22.⇛ Towed aircraft using specialized equipment during towing operations.⇛ Interpreted and complied with aircraft maintenance procedures, manuals, specifications, directives, guides, and forms used on the job.⇛ Completed maintenance documentation using OOMA and required forms while ensuring data accuracy.
