I am currently employed as a cybersecurity analyst where my primary goal is to increase the cybersecurity posture of my team. I work closely with the ISSO to ensure policies are updated and maintained, using Splunk to monitor network traffic, and using Tenable to ensure vulnerabilities are identified and mitigated in a timely manner. Prior to making the career shift to cybersecurity, I worked jobs that gave me experience in customer service, warehousing, and formulation. As part of my career shift, I obtain a Bachelor’s degree and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree from Boise State University in Cyber Operations and Resilience.
