Field engineer tasked with managing a 125M TxDOT CEI construction project. Converting a 2 lane highway into a 4 lane divided highway. Construction split into 4 separate contracts. Items of work include installation of drainage structures, concrete pavement, bridges, traffic signals, signing and pavement markings. Responsible for daily coordination of construction inspection and record keeping staff. Processing change orders, answering client questions, hosting bi weekly progress meeting, and address field related issues.

Task with construction inspection and record keeping of multiple TxDOT construction project ranging from $300,000 to $7M addressing drainage improvement, mill and overlays, seal coats, landscaping, and rehabilitation of roadways. Performing field inspection to ensure work perform meets TxDOT standard specifications, entering daily work reports into site manager, paying for items of work completed, SW3P reports, 599 barricades reports, and bulletin board inspection. Materials testing such as concrete cylinders, densities, and Level 1B. Attend preconstruction meetings assisting the Project Manager with meeting notes and sending them out to all parties involved. Reviewing and processing of change orders.
