Oversee all audio-related operations across three venues (capacities of 1600, 500, and 200) and multiple ancillary spaces. In addition to equipment operation and upkeep, responsibilities include acting as mix engineer for live, livestream, and video productions (capture and post work), serving as day-of-show PA systems technician, coordination with all incoming acts (touring, rental, and local), leading crew calls, coordination of skilled freelance labor, among many others.During my tenure here I built a new low/no overhead profit center for the company in the form of facility rental for recording classical music; included the creation and operation of a high resolution, high channel count recording system. Bookings on this system have shown to be 60% more time efficient in get-in/get-out and 30+% more time efficient in overall work completed over a traditional studio setting.

Despite the title, this position largely served as the Technical Director for the 200 seat black box theater. When circumstances required, filled any of several roles including mix engineer, lighting designer, master electrician, A2, assistant electrician, flyman, followspot operator, etc.

Assisted the house Master Electrician; lighting production contract advance of touring performances, prep work for shows, programmed the house lighting consoles (ETC Eos and Element), led crews of 10+, designed lighting for touring act performances.

Responsibilities included sharing live mixing opportunities, overseeing lighting hangs and maintenance, and, with 3 other leads, heading a crew of 10 in facilitating a summer concert series composed of mid-size "Bus and Truck" tours in a 4000 seat pavilion and a 1000 seat proscenium space.

This was a one month contract as one of two Eos programmers at the new Ferrari World theme park on Yas Island just north of Abu Dhabi. Primary responsibilities included touch-up programming and tweaking of attraction lighting, troubleshooting, both, equipment and IT-based issues on a network that spanned the entirety of the park, working with show control engineers to sync show control impulses to Eos triggering, and, when asked, provide creative input and additions to attraction lighting designs. Secondary responsibilities consisted of configuring a concert-grade LED wall of Acclaim X-Panels and troubleshooting the network issues therein.

Responsibilities included designing and implementing two productions every three weeks, serving as lighting operator during said shows, and serving as an electrician for any number of the seven other spaces during each of the three weeks sessions.

At TPAC, I performed tasks that any general hand in any roadhouse performs (hang and focus lighting, set audio, loadins & loadouts of major and minor roadshows, etc)

Responsibilities included sharing live mixing opportunities with another engineer (both FOH and Monitors) for a 4000 seat pavilion and a 1000 seat indoor space, managing the setting and cabling of the stage for all incoming tours, leading a crew of hands on a daily basis, and maintaining industry-standard gear.

Responsibilities included managing a crew of 20-30 entry level lighting students to hang and focus the season's 6 major shows in two separate spaces, maintaining any and all electrics gear, ensuring that all work is completed to strictly enforced OSHA and MTSU safety regulations, and advanced programming on ETC Eos and Express lighting desks.

Responsibilities include LoadIn, Setting, and LoadOut as a local stagehand for roadshows, facilitating various classical concerts, performing maintenance on industry standard audio and lighting gear, and some live audio mixing opportunities.

Responsibilities included picking and stocking of parts, inventory management, PC-based network maintenance in 2 separate locations, data entry, operation of scissorlifts, forklifts, narrow-aisle reach trucks, and motorized pallet jacks. This was the start up period for this location. Advanced use of MS Office (including Access) and basic Visual Basic software knowledge was required.
