Pargo is a smart logistics company that makes delivery more accessible, affordable and convenient through a tech enabled network of Pargo pick-up points. They connect companies, couriers and consumers both locally as globally by allowing them to send and receive parcels at these Pargo points located at convenient retail stores across Africa.Pargo solves the challenges of last-mile distribution in Africa, where 75% of the population live and work in areas that have limited access to goods. These areas include informal settlements and rural areas, which often lack residential addresses and are inaccessible or very expensive to service by couriers. High security housing estates, large office buildings and universities are other examples of areas where a courier delivery is almost impossible.Pargo has won various awards and honours, including Seedstards Start-Up Awards (2016), Alibaba eFounders Initiative (2017), Finalist at FNB Innovation Awards (2018) and became an Endeavor company during the 82nd ISP in Argentina (2018).

Jumo is a mobile money marketplace for African people, small businesses and mobile network operators. Our products give users the best possible offers, with little compromise, and we are pushing the boundaries of digital banking.My role at Jumo is dedicated to managing inter-partner connectivity as well as maintenance, development and design of underlying infrastructure, involving our AWS fleet as well as other cloud provided services.

I am a young professional, in the process of building my IT career in Cape Town. I have a strong focus on networking as well as systems management and administration. Managing servers, networking equipment and the services that make things happen, is a big passion of mine. Furthering myself to learn newer and more advanced systems each day is something I aspire to do, and greatly look forward to.
