Recruitment & Retention Coordinator Lgbt Center
Current-In charge of the planning and execution of the Queer Peer Mentoring Program; supervises undergrad mentors during program. This program entails first year LGBTQ+ students being mentored by 2nd/3rd/4th year students over a 9-10 week period during first semester.-facilitates Parent Space, space for individuals who work at CWRU and are parents of LGBTQ+ children -facilitates LGBTQ+ Faculty and Staff Group-facilitates LGBTQ+ Athletes/Allies Group-consistently meets with pediatric med students to provide advocate knowledge and resources for working with LGBTQ+ patients -assists in facilitating Safe Zone, Trans Allyship, and Pronoun workshop, all of which serve as educational spaces for faculty, staff, and students in the CWRU community -member of the undergraduate BIT committee as well as the graduate BIT (behavioral intervention team)-has conducted the search process for undergrad student coordinator positions in our center-serves on Development & Leadership Committee for the Division of Student Affairs-serves on the First Year Experience Board -serves on the University Spirit Committee-serves on Supporting Neurodiverse Students Committee-is an Emerging Leaders Program Coach-serves on EYOC Award for Residential Life-assists with LGBTQ+ Advocacy training for Resident Assistants and Orientation Leaders-has served/still serving on Residential Community Director interview committees for Residential Life-serves on SLAC Award Committee-updates CWRU's LGBT Center website/has web content editing experience -created new found page/continuing to add resources to the QTPOC/QPOC page of the LGBT Center's website, along with its subcategories -assists in the planning of the LGBT Center's yearly staff retreat as well as the presentation
