-In charge of the planning and execution of the Queer Peer Mentoring Program; supervises undergrad mentors during program. My Senior Solo Show: There Is More In The ReflectionMy show consisted of the works from my two concentrations ofphotography and ceramicsWith guidance when needed, I repainted the gallery walls, I cut mats/framed the photos/hung them, built wooden floating frames for some,selected a fluid layout, placed/hung ceramics pieces successfully, andadjusted gallery lightingAlso, I designed my own flyer for the reception, which was on Feb. 22

My second work study: I am the Ceramic Studio assistant. I watch over the kiln while the pieces are fired, help out with mixing of clay and some clean up. I also still currently work a few hours in Costume Shop in the school's theater dept.!

As a sales associate for the summer, I spent most of the time working on the register in the front of the store, and also assisting customers with what they needed.

This is the Office of Multi Cultural Student Affairs at Ohio Wesleyan. As the special assistant, I would perform typical office tasks such as making copies, coming up with simple ideas for white boards to advertise campus events, pick up packages for my boss, I often would deliver paper work to other faculty on campus for her and vise versa, etc.

For this job, I was a caller that would contact alumnae to ask for donations towards the university. This helped me continue to develop my communication skills and being comfortable talking on the phone.

As a Sales Associate, I was a cashier, I helped customers, I did payouts to customers for their buys, dressed manicans, tagged/put new merhandise on the sales floor, and helped keep the store clean at the end of the night. I really enjoyed working here because of the experience in retail I got here. I also loved helping customers pick out amazing outfits/style them.

A Diversity is responsible for running diversity events at the school, ensuring that equity/inclusion is continouly apart of the community, and attending the annual Student Diversity Leadership Conference. From that conference, we bring back what we learned from our experiences and try to implement that in Laurel's community.

I have been on the cross country team and track team for fours year and became captain during my senior year.

As a stock associate, I worked in the stock room, organized the clothing, received/processed shipment, worked in the show floor, helped with overall standards of the store. I also learned how to (at Hollister, through their system) account for all items through USR, and censor all clothing and items properly. I truly enjoyed the experience because I love working with clothing and fashion, and I want to be a part of a huge brand and eventually create my own. i think it was good for me to see what happens behind the scenes and not just see the people working behind the register because there is a lot that goes into running the stock room of a store.

As a fashion apprentice, I was mentored by Ms. Jeanne James, a teacher of fashion design and Kent State University. I learned how to sew (currently own my own sewing machine), how to cut fabric properly, how to pin fabric, how to measure, how to do basic fashion sketches, how to create a basic presentation board for a clothing line, and some parts of how the industry works.

As a game design apprentice, I learned all of the criteria and work that goes into designing a game, i learned to used illustrator, photoshop, etc and I worked with a team to design a simple video game. I was not able to finish the summer due to being in a bad car accident.
