I was tasked with engaging stakeholders throughout Nordstrom to intake and prioritize requirements for their particular business needs. I provided transparency through written and in person communication about prioritization, why we prioritized the way we did and to set appropriate expectations. I managed a Capability backlog and priorities with our Technology partners as well as determined the strategic vision and roadmap for a given business capability as it pertains to merchandising (ex. Product MDM, Oracle Item, related micro services, Oracle Price, Price Management, Clearance and Markdown tools, Competitive Pricing Intelligence). I helped evaluate and establish key metrics by which we will measure the success of new or enhanced business capabilities. Lastly, I evaluated Technology vendors and worked with Nordstrom Technology to regularly ensure our business needs were being met.

Created an endowed scholarship at the University of Washington Seattle, that awards incoming freshman who have a proven background of academic, philanthropic, leadership & athletic successes. Applicants must submit written applications meeting high standards, carry a cumulative HS GPA of 3.0, and provide transcripts and letters of recommendation. A committee then uses formalized scoring to notify select qualified applicants for interviews. Applications are generally accepted in spring and winners notified late summer.
