As a Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, my passion lies in understanding the intricate process of how products are made and function. Currently at Applied Engineering, I provide support for products across diverse industries like energy, medical, aerospace, and semiconductors. My role involves evaluating product designs and providing technical feedback to improve manufacturability, as well as developing and implementing manufacturing processes for new product introductions. In my previous role as a Supplier Quality Engineer at Micross Components, I ensured that raw materials and parts met the strict specifications and standards of our customers in the Aerospace and Semiconductor industries. I am experienced with inspecting incoming material and parts per military standards such as MIL-STD 883 and MIL-STD-750. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers, I addressed material non-conformities efficiently and implemented corrective actions effectively. I also gained valuable experience as a Mechanical and Process Engineer Intern at IR HiRel (acquired by Micross Inc), where I developed and honed my skills in 3D modeling, prototyping, and improving assembly processes. Heavily used SolidWorks and AutoCAD to design fixtures and tooling, and utilized 3D printers to fabricate prototypes and bring concepts to life.
