In my final semesters of college at UNM. I'm a double major in Philosophy (pre-law) and Political Science. I'm currently beginning a research project about human rights violations in armed conflict at Undergraduate Research, Arts & Design Network at UNM. I'm particularly knowledgeable in foreign policy, specifically the middle east, where I've been working on some passion projects about the 2003 Iraq War and Afghanistan. I've been using and applying this experience when looking at not only armed conflicts around the world, but the different negotiation dynamics across the public and private sectors. There is a massive amount of value in analyzing different negotiation dynamics (why they fail, how to move forward). I have a lot of experience in debate and discourse, and Philosophy was my primary focus originally in college when I was hoping to eventually practice law. This changed when I realized I could utilize skills of critical thinking and dissecting geopolitical and social dynamics in a more personally fulfilling sector.
