In my past roles as a Lead Technician, I developed an application suite using a Linux server, PHP, jQuery, MySQL, and Apache containing tools for our support team to use. The tool was adopted by hundreds of coworkers and took an average hour-long troubleshooting process down to 5 minutes. As a Microsoft Engineer, I had the privilege of working along-side many talented people, each specializing in a given Microsoft Cloud technology. We started a brand-new team offering consultative migration and cloud-deployment services and took the business unit to over $1M of annual revenue in just under a year. I got to work with many technologies including migrations and fresh deployments of Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office 365, Azure AD, Active Directory, Azure AD Connect and more. I also contributed to our open-source Environment Discovery Utility, an advanced PowerShell application that audits entire Microsoft server and services infrastructure and generates a comprehensive report for users looking to add or migrate services. Today, I work as an Automation Engineer, saving the company valuable real-man hours on redundant tasks by leveraging an in-house application, C#, and my previous background in advanced PowerShell scripting and Windows Server to automate deployments of VMs, applications and customer-communications.
