"Just be you"That is something my therspist said to me years ago, and I still try to keep that promise everyday. Since then, I've learned a lot about myself; namely that I am both very adaptable and open to new challenges. Some of these include:I became the Vice President of my school's IB Council-How to lead a 20-person group effectively and collaboratively-Managing material, advertising, and venue logistics for guests over 200 people-Research and communication skills with multiple parties-Created the material and fundraising models and method for future yearsI worked as a Student Chef and Executive Assistant as part of The Cheff Jeff Project-The ability to adapt in a fast-paced enviorment serving 100 persons-Ability to take notes on 50+ item grocery hauls and government meetings-Customer service working as an upper-house waiter serviing 100 non-profit executives-Created a grant research spreadsheet with over 40 different oppurtunitiesAnd I volunteered as part of the AD-14 Youth Committee with State Assemblywoman Erica Mosca-Managed a Christmas Present family give-away to over 50 families in need-Worked closely with politicians and community leaders to set up multiple charity and fundrasing events-Worked to clean homeless encampments and better my community-Became the youngest person ever to be apart of the Youth Committee ProgramThis is not at all an exhaustive list, but rather a taste of the multitude of varied expierences I have in school, work, and community involvements. And throughout all of these expierences, I try to work hard, make my mark, and to be kind to both myself and the world :))
