Manage whole China/Hong Kong/Taiwan origins and report to global DRM team• Manage smooth execution of all origin logistics operations for their responsible origins and ensure that the defined logistics standard operation procedures are followed by the control tower (4PL) in collaborative execution from other stakeholders included 3PLs, carriers, and factories to achieve on-time availability of our products.• Manage the implementation and execution of Global Logistics or any other GOPS initiatives or projects in their specific origins ensuring adidas’ objectives can be achieved. • Set-up effective communication and collaboration channels between 4PL, 3PLs, carriers, LO and factories in responsible origins.a local expert and single point of contact in the responsible origins to support Sourcing, Global Logistics and other internal parties.Become visible and build respect as a valuable business partner to the LO leadership team in the respective origins.• Ensure awareness of all local logistics market developments. Collect first-hand market information for responsible origins. Share relevant information to enable the team to take pro-active actions to minimize/mitigate risk of delivery delays.• Drive, build, and manage very good local business relationship with 4PL, 3PLs and carriers in the responsible origins.• Initiate continuous improvement process/performance reviews with factories and LO to drive operational efficiency related to transport logistics.• Identify areas for process complexity in the responsible origins. Engage stakeholders, such as LO/factories. CI team and the control tower and drive the creation of an actionable improvement plan to optimize logistics cost and comply with company and department strategic direction.• Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders include the LO, Factories (Internal) and the 4PL, 3PL and Carriers (External). Ensure collaboration is in place from these partners.
