Devin Delaney is NoiseFloor’s head composer, music supervisor, and mega-geek of all things music. You will often find him plugging away on his computer, strumming a guitar, tweaking a synth or slamming away on his drum machine in NF’s music room. Devin always dives head first into every musical endeavour that comes his way, be it composing cinematic orchestral film scores, writing addicting custom songs, producing hard hitting electronic tracks or hunting down that perfect track from NoiseFloor’s sizeable music library. When composing, Devin balances his passion for music technology, versatile musical foundation, and a fundamental love of a great hook. Some of his favorite jobs have been scoring the iOS game Avengers Initiative: Hulk and Avengers Initiative: Captain America, creating a custom indie rock library for Kohler, and composing the theme song for the Middle Eastern television hit, Wah Mahyaya. Devin wears his geeky-heart on his sleeve by taking part in professional panels at comic book and entertainment conventions and expos, and is dipping his toes into producing podcasts. Before jumping into Chicago’s post-production scene, Devin graduated Magna Cum Laude from Berklee College Music in Boston with a dual major in Music Production & Engineering and Songwriting. Devin grew up in the Chicagoland area and is one of the biggest Bulls fans you'll ever meet... And as a cross-sectional nerd, he often uses Game of Thrones characters to explain the NBA landscape to his less sports-oriented friends. He likes to spend his free time playing the newest and coolest video games, flexing his foodie muscles by trying different restaurants around Chicago, and drinking the latest and greatest craft beer. Devin lives in the Northside of Chicago with his beloved Boston Terrier, Eloise and borderline acceptable cat, Rocket.
