As a practising retina specialist with more than 25 years of imaging and clinical experience, I've been able to bring together a team that has the clinical and technical expertise and experience to achieve our global mission.Through innovative AI and OCT analysis, we've created the definitive clinical network platform for the management of AMD, revolutionizing patient care and delivering immense end-to-end value at the point of care to optometry, ophthalmology, Pharma and patients alike. Our technology addresses workflow inefficiencies, skill shortages and growing treatment burden, setting a new standard for patient outcomes on a global scale.With the support of government grants (BioMedTechHorizons2 and ANDHealthPlus) and clinical investors, our organization is addressing huge unmet needs, actively seeking investment to propel our clinical and strategic operations forward. Spearheading Macuject's journey, we are not just innovating but also empowering optometry and retinal clinics to optimize visual outcomes and transform the landscape of AMD treatment.On a personal note, I have now stopped performing surgery so that I can spend much more time working on Macuject, which has significantly greater potential to achieve my personal ophthalmic goal of delivering the highest level of care to the most people.
