Defined the 3 year tech and product roadmap for the org.• Single threaded leader of the Alexa Music’s core backend music platform that provides music skill building primitives for third party developers and runtime capabilities for Alexa Music. Defined the team’s vision, roadmap and organization, identified unique charters and spun off three independent teams. Interfaced with Distinguished engineers, Sr. Principals, Directors and Sr. managers across multiple organizations to evangelize team charter and align on platform evolution strategy. Launched Alexa Music Skills Kit which enables 3P music providers to self-onboard on to Alexa reducing launch time from 4+ months to 5 weeks. Drove operational and cost efficiencies via re-architecture of a monolithic platform into a scalable/distributed system with full CI/CD operating at ~100K TPS. Grew the team to a size of 45+ (from 10) within 9 months. • Owned the Corporate Gift Cards online and brick-and-mortar tech platforms ($4B business) and launched several incentive-based products (Amazon Cash, Amazon Gift Cards on Demand via APIs, Bulk email Gift Cards)

• Led the implementation of a complex Mobile NFC Contactless Payments (among Top 20 initiatives at Amex) – an application based on the Mobile Wallet solution to enable customers to host their credit cards on to their Mobile Wallets and make contactless payments. Managed a team of 30+ people spread across geographies (multiple locations in India, US) and coordinated across 18 teams within American Express• Implemented a third-party product-suite for Customer Experience Management on a new platform (Tealeaf) which involved working with multiple external stakeholders (IBM, CISCO, HP, Tealeaf, EMC, Tivoli, AV etc). This also involved a complete infrastructure uplift of the whole application along with product upgrades involving Capacity planning, IBM RFS, build and set-up of 14 servers
