I've been in the Retail industry for a period of 6 and half years now, 2021 being my 7th year in this field. In this industry i have achieved the knowledge on how to run a business, enhanced communication skills as well as leadership skills. I started off as a store Merchandiser in 2015, later promoted to be a supervisor mid 2016. I later worked my way up and got promoted by the end of 2017 to a position of a manager till 2019. During this period i worked on improving staff performance, consistency in ordering of stock, improved supplier connections and improved services which included customer needs, expectations and demands. In implementing the above i managed to improve sales and there was a wing that should have been closed that was already on it's way to experience downfall, had i failed to archive the set goals. If i can place it in this way apart from my professional qualifications i am quickly analytical by nature, quick to learn and applying the knowledge of what i learn in a short space of time and also good at problem solving. Through all these skills I've managed to achieve required results and even exceeding expected outcomes at times.I can say I'm proud to be in this field of Retailing and i can do great, given an opportunity to prove myself.
