In this role I manage the problem solving activities that our engineering, management, and suppliers engage in. As a part of that I review all documentation to ensure that it is relevant and applicable to the current issue and work with stakeholders to identify appropriate and robust countermeasures. Since I primarily work on the Toyota customer group this involves a lot of A3’s, Fault Tree Analyses, and Option Matrices. The main takeaway of every problem solving activity is to not put a bandaid on the problem and call it good. We need to identify the true root cause and fix it right and then try to prevent it from happening again by changing processes and documentation.

I work in our Car Audio division across the different engineering competencies including hardware, software, mechanical, and tuning to ensure that our products meet their deadlines and maintain a high level of quality. To do this I work with the program and project management team and work with stakeholders all over the globe. There is regular interfacing between myself, management, and engineering. There are frequent changes to designs and product sourcing that require an agile mindset to be able to adapt to the current market and customer demands.

I was a part of the Tuner team working on the AM/FM and SiriusXM radio functionalities for consumer vehicle Human Machine Interface systems. I also worked on proof of concept projects for new radio technologies.

As an election inspector it is my responsibility to ensure that each election is run smoothly and with confidence in the end count. I work with the city clerk to issue ballots to registered voters and assist voters utilize their right to vote.

I co-founded High School AD Network with my friend and his dad to address an unmet need for high school athletic directors. I have been wholly responsible for the website and network architecture since the inception of High School AD Network. Also, as a founding member I am involved with other aspects of the business related to customer service and outreach as well as vendor collaboration.

In this role I am teaching primary school aged children STEAM concepts from a pre developed curriculum. The topics range from software to hardware and everything in between. There is a lecture component as well as a hands on portion with each class. The goal is to get the children engaged with STEAM and to have fun!

I was a part of the Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) at BAE Systems, Inc. This program has a long heritage at BAE with the goal of developing engineering leaders through in house training and additional school work. For my first rotation I was working on Failure Analysis where an engineering problem is identified and resolved with data and team collaboration.

I work with entrepreneurs who are looking to take their products to market and I develop their ideas into reality. I either do this by creating electronic circuits, writing programs, or both.

I developed a web based application for the Quality Assurance team at Harman to automate report generation. I utilized MySQL and php in WordPress to interface with various databases and construct returned data into various reports that were generated in real time. I worked with multiple teams who were stakeholders in the application to meet all requirements.The application shortened the time to generate these reports from several hours per Quality Assurance personnel to a couple of minutes with a couple of clicks.

I was part of a team that investigated adding new functionality to the TransWorks mobile app that would combine the functionalities of current technological solutions for freight shipment into one convenient solution.

I assembled furniture for the store and delivered furniture to customers.

I managed the public areas of the hotel as well as worked with the house keeping staff.

I assembled and packaged trophies and other awards for customers.
