Hello, my name is Devin Hurt! I am a 20-year-old junior and Pre-Law Political Science - International Relations and Philosophy of Law double major at VCU. I am also a Prestige Beauty advisor at Ulta Beauty with several years of retail and customer service experience. Both of my parents served in the military, so I have lived in a number of places such as Germany and South Korea. I am very academically-driven, and my education has always been my top priority. I am 100% a team player and I love getting the job done no matter what the task, which is why I like to maintain a balance of academics and working. While I certainly enjoy the stability that jobs have to offer, I realize that situations happen and it's important to be ready for the unexpected. I like to stay prepared, so I’m very flexible and adaptive when a problem presents itself in a work setting. I am a conscientious and reliable worker, and my relationships with my past employers do a great job reflecting that. The most distinct fact about me is that helping others is what I love to do most, so I tend to genuinely enjoy working if I have the opportunity to interact with others. I’m a very outgoing and driven person, and I strongly believe that I am an irreplaceable worker that will leave their workplace better than they found it.
