Project involves consolidating and migrating two datacenters of AIX and HP-UX servers connected to IBM SANs, down to two different data centers of HP Integrity Blades and AIX servers connected to XP and EVA storage. Member of the AIX and Storage teams. Tasks involve AIX system administration and storage management, VIO server administration, SAN requests, NFS consolidation, project and schedule management. Notable accomplishments include putting together a Clustering training class in a few days and training remote members of the team on Symantec VCS clustering using a virtual classroom, HP Integrity Servers and EVA storage.

On contract to Symantec as a member of the Symantec HP migration team, helping HP's customers implement Symantec Veritas technology into their enterprise. Responsibilities include delivering webcasts and training to the HP Unix technical community and Symantec consultants on High Availability and Storage management topics, testing the integration of Symantec Veritas products on HP hardware and virtual machines, writing and reviewing collateral, and building out and managing the corporate lab and data center which includes EMC Symmetrix storage, HP Integrity Servers, Sun Servers, Linux servers and PC's. Also periodically contracted out to HP and Symantec partners to implement solutions. Consulting engagements at multiple companies involved configuring and setting up HP C7000 Blade Systems, Brocade switches, Storage Foundation Management Server, Command Central Storage, VCS, and Symantec PureDisk and Netbackup DLO backup solutions.
