I created and managed print and digital projects for 22 years as a graphic designer at The UPS Store Headquarters, supporting a network of over 5,700 franchisees. I have a strong background in layout, graphics, and production.As a designer, I want to make information look good. I want my output to be clear, accessible, and consistent. As a production artist, I want the output I create to work for a variety of production processes. As a proofreader/copyeditor, I want that output to communicate effectively. I see these as all parts of the same job. I'm dedicated to delivering high-quality and creative designs that meet the needs and expectations of my customers, while maintaining and applying strict brand standards and requirements. I was deeply involved in one complete rebranding project as well as several brand updates with new logos, artwork, images and text for a range of materials. I have also been involved in programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting an online digital marketing tool, as well as producing and coordinating electronic files and related production documents. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies to enhance my creativity and efficiency. I recently completed a certificate in copyediting through UC San Diego Extended Studies.
