At the age of 16, while enrolled in high school, I began working full-time to gain valuable work experience to establish my resume. My job as a cashier served as a foundation for my transition into customer service-oriented positions at various call centers, where I developed essential soft skills in both verbal and written communication. I quickly learned the importance of teamwork and consistently met company KPIs while supporting my colleagues.Recognizing that further education was crucial for advancing my career, I enrolled part-time in BYU-Idaho Online in 2020, pursuing a degree in Applied Technology with a focus on management and system administration. Balancing my studies with full-time work to support my family has taught me effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines.Returning to school has proven to be a pivotal decision, enabling me to apply my newfound knowledge to my career in IT. I have begun my journey in various helpdesk roles at large organizations and earned certifications from TestOut for Network Pro and Hardware Pro, which are comparable to CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+. I anticipate graduating with my Bachelor's Degree in 2027, and I am committed to continuous learning and growth.This experience has profoundly reinforced the value of hard work, resilience, and integrity. I have come to understand that true success is built on a foundation of dependability and commitment—not only to my own goals but also to my team and organization.
