He trained in New York City in Emergency Medicine and Trauma at Kings County Hospital, one of the busiest Trauma Centers in the United States. Devin has worked in Emergency Medicine in both Brooklyn and Queens, as well as being a 911 Paramedic. He has been in EMS for 20 years (maintaining his NREMT-P since 2000), and has taught students ranging from EMT to medical students both in the field and in the ER as well as teaching tactical medics from local, state, federal and military agencies. He has worked with with the Office of the EMS Medical Director in Osceola County, Florida, former medical advisor for SWAT in the Orlando area and currently a Deputy Chief Surgeon for the New York State Troopers PBA as well as Police Surgeon for Town of Fallsburg Police.
