Guidant helps finance 2000 businesses annually and provides benefits administration for 8000 small business clients and their 100,000 employees. As President, I led a global team of 160 across product management, design, sales, operations and software engineering. Our team delivered consistent annual revenue growth through the introduction of new products and increased net income through a multi year digital transformation across our core business units.My initial role at Guidant was to build an internal product and engineering organization to rebuild the Guidant platform and develop a strategy for expanding our revenue through product expansion. To execute this strategy I built and led a team of product managers, designers and software engineers between Bellevue and Vietnam. Our team rebuilt and oversaw technical operations for the Guidant platform which supported over $500M in annual financing transactions as well as 8000 small business 401(k) clients and their 100,000 employees.

During my time at the company, TaxACT was a leading SaaS tax platform for 6 million consumers, professional tax preparers and small businesses and a $100M+ annual revenue division of Blucora (Nasdaq: BCOR). As Chief Strategy Officer, I led a cross sectional team across product management, strategy, business development and M&A. I was tasked with developing and implementing a company wide strategy for out performing revenue and net income targets for the business which we achieved by expanding our partnerships, a strategic acquisition to expand our addressable market, refining our pricing and go to market strategy and beginning a multi-year journey to modernize the TaxACT core platform.
