Hi, I’m Devin—an entrepreneur, lifelong Alaskan, and all-around cool guy. Born and raised in the rugged beauty of Alaska, I’m also a proud Athabascan native with deep roots in my community. My passion for business started way back in elementary school when I built a trading network for Pokémon cards that connected almost every school in Fairbanks. That early venture sparked a passion for business that’s stayed with me throughout my career.After high school, I worked various retail jobs before diving into real estate at age 20. Earning my real estate license gave me invaluable experience in sales, client relations, and business operations. But it was through networking with local business owners that I discovered a key gap in the market—Alaskan businesses needed a more holistic approach to business consulting, especially in the realm of technology. That’s when I founded Arcturus Consulting Group.At ACG, we specialize in helping businesses systematize processes, maximize the value of their technology, and close skill gaps that hold them back. Our approach is rooted in systems engineering, which means we take the time to understand every facet of a business before we recommend the right tech-driven solutions. It’s about transformation, not just optimization.At my core, I believe in education and community empowerment. That’s why I launched Arcturus Academy, an online platform to help people and businesses stay ahead of emerging tech trends. And it’s why I’m currently working on Arcturus Alliance, a nonprofit initiative aimed at tackling social and environmental challenges using technology. Whether it’s in the boardroom or in the community, my goal is to create meaningful, lasting change.When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me exploring the Alaskan wilderness with my dogs, zeroing in a new rifle at the shooting range, or diving into my growing library of over 500 books. While I enjoy reading about business, my interests range from philosophy to physics, and my current favorite read is "The Dancing Wu Li Masters" by Gary Zukav.I’m also passionate about writing and researching, especially when it comes to topics like national security, economics, and technology. Writing helps me dig deeper into the issues that I believe shape our future.At the end of the day, what I love most about my work is the impact I can have on the people I collaborate with.
