Working with Rev Ops and GTM to help build our business tools, technology and systems.

I co-led the Business Applications (BizApps) engineering squad focused on internal product stakeholders. We help build and maintain product experiences (customer portal, admin panel) in addition to integrations across a variety of our services and third-party systems (CRM, finance, marketing, etc.).

I joined the startup with the CTO title to lead the product management and software development team. This included everything relating to our people, plans, and processes to build, test and maintain our product, software platforms and information technology systems.

I led half of our mobile engineering organization. I directly and indirectly managed a dozen software engineers, help co-lead agile sprint routines, coordinate across other teams and disciplines, influence and implement process improvements across the mobile organization, and help drive further cultural and technology changes away from manual to automated testing and release processes.

Helped explore a couple new Firefox Partnerships and tried to find product-market fit for an Enterprise support offering.Shifted to leading the product and engineering teams responsible for the Firefox Developer Tools in January 2020. Then expanded my responsibilities to include Accessibility and Internationalization in September 2020. With these three teams, I directly managed two team leads and their peers plus an engineering manager with his directs.

I worked on some new and experimental projects at Mozilla, the makers of Firefox.I formed and led a mobile (Android and iOS) engineering team responsible for a different take on helping users manage their passwords: Firefox Lockwise (formerly known as Firefox Lockbox).I also co-led a team of engineers building and growing our Firefox browser on Amazon’s Fire TV and Echo Show devices.I also helped build and launch a prototypical marketing website for purchasing a security product directly from Mozilla.

I helped manage, design, and scale our sales processes and systems (marketing automation, Salesforce.com, prospecting and quoting and contracting tools) by partnering closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, Internal Systems, Finance, and Engineering to identify and translate business requirements into project plans.I also supported continuous improvement and prioritization of individual projects and "keep the lights on" weekly work. This included setting the technical direction for the team, driving the evolution of the system architecture, and making appropriate technology choices. This also included recruiting, hiring, managing, and evaluating software engineers and system administrators.

I worked with sales management to develop and improve processes involving, affecting and supporting the newly-formed inside and enterprise field sales teams. With a new and growing sales team this often included defining, prioritizing and reviewing the execution of technical projects relating to the sales team and its tools and systems (Salesforce.com, quoting and billing systems).This role also required interfacing with internal groups and stakeholders including Finance, Marketing, Legal, Deal Desk and Engineering. It also included hiring, working with and managing engineers and coordinators.

I was one of about 10 members of the early Enterprise sales team helping with everything from customer introduction and vetting, customer success and technical support, contract negotiation, event planning, and coordination with internal teams (product, engineering, legal, finance).

I oversaw business development, project scoping and estimation, contract negotiation, client onboarding, account management and project management for all client projects. This included scheduling, resourcing, prioritization and coordinating amongst all our project managers, front-end and back-end developers, and designers.My daily involvement also included: discussing project and user experience requirements, helping make technology decisions, performing code review and functional testing, and structuring and performing data migrations. I also helped recruit, hire, manage, and mentor engineers and employees at all levels.
