As a key member of the executive team, headed the 50-person finance department for this company with $854 million in revenue, the 18th fastest growing and 3rd largest company on the 2009 Inc. 500. - Corporate Social Responsibility: supported the company’s work with The MORE Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a budget over $3 million, working in the slums of Rio de Janeiro.- Private Equity: Worked closely with the private equity investor that had invested $100 million in MonaVie to maintain a healthy relationship.- Recapitalization: Restructured the private equity investment, converting the original equity investment to debt, optimized for tax deductibility in a nearly $200 million transaction.- Accounting: Created the first-ever monthly close process for the company, instituted budgets, spending authority limits and capital budgets, keeping EBITDA above 18%.- Treasury: Organized a fully functioning treasury department to manage large consumer transaction volumes along with more than 10,000 distributor payments weekly in 15 currencies.

Supported senior management in the process of creating liquidity for the founders by helping to negotiate the sale of the business, working closely with the investment bankers and other advisors.

Worked with clients to achieve strategic objectives, including M&A and capital raising. Provided consulting services, especially in the energy sector. For example, worked closely on the successful recapitalization of an international manufacturer of motorcycle helmets.

Founded Mortgage America with two partners. Closed $4 million in mortgage loans in the first 90 days. After one year, sold out to a partner. The business still operates today.
