I manage a $816 million operating budget for MCE Clean Energy, including our $6.4 million data management services and technical assistance programs and our $2.5 million communications program.I lobbied and secured over 6.5 million in federal funding to expand utility debt relief, electric vehicle charging, and clean mobility programs. I serve as Chair of the MCE Technical Committee as well as a member of the Executive Committee and the Ad-Hoc Committee for Virtual Power Plant.The Technical Committee explores, discusses, and provides direction or approval on issues related to electricity supply, distributed generation, greenhouse gas emissions, energy efficiency, procurement risk management, and other topics of a technical nature. Frequent topics include electricity generation technology and procurement, greenhouse gas accounting and reporting, energy efficiency programs and technology, energy storage technology, net energy metering tariff, local solar rebates, electric vehicle programs and technology, Feed-in Tariff activity and other local development, long term integrated resource planning, regulatory compliance, MCE's Energy Risk Management Policy (ERMP), procurement risk oversight, and other activity related to the energy sector. The MCE Technical Committee reviews and discusses new technologies and potential application by MCE.

Greenbelt Alliance's mission is to educate, advocate, and collaborate to ensure the Bay Area’s lands and communities are resilient to a changing climate.

I managed and coordinated Communities for a Better Environment's c(4) program CBE Action's voter education, mobilization, and outreach program. I led scheduling and collateral development for advocacy meetings with municipal, state, and federal legislators and member training, totaling over 100 meetings with legislative and municipal offices, 10 bills, and over 75 paid part-time staff and volunteers.I facilitated bi-monthly environmental and housing policy-focused coalition-wide meetings through crisis and transition, ensuring seamless operation of coalition’s 10+ member organizations and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of legislative calendar and environmental and housing justice landscape in California.I advised on legislative and regulatory policies for clean energy, reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, clean transportation, interstate commerce, and democracy reform to local and state agencies, including the Secretary of State, California Energy Commission, California Public Utilities Commission, and Bay Area Air Quality Management District.I managed stakeholder engagement and spearheads grassroots approach to navigate complex internal and external relations in partnership with key partners, including Power California, California Environmental Justice Alliance, Tides Advocacy, and California Endowment.

I ran for Contra Costa County Clerk-Recorder (Chief Election Officer/Administrator). I received 41,613 votes (22% of the vote). I fundraised over $50,000 from over 250 donors in 4 months.This campaign was paid for by Devin T. Murphy for Contra Costa County Clerk Recorder. FPPC #1444648

I executed our robust $21 million digital advertising independent expenditure program to support Democrats running for Senate in North Dakota, Indiana, and New Jersey. I coordinated our $10 million digital program in partnership with House Majority PAC and the League of Conservation Voters to support House Democrats and candidates in 40+ congressional districtsI developed a secured tool to track political advertising spending of Democratic and Republican SuperPAC and independent expenditure spending using Okta. I moderated a panel entitled "The Evolving Role of Ad Agencies" at 2018 Priorities USA Bootcamp featuring Annie Levine, Partner at Rising Tide Interactive and Ann Marie Habershaw (late), CFO at Bully Pulpit Interactive.

I launched several online marketing campaigns centered around prison reform, criminal justice reform, the opioid epidemic, #FeesandFines, and the school-to-prison pipeline (including #CollegeNotPrisons, #DayofEmpathy, and #PatientsNotPrisoners) targeted to government and corporate leaders, the entertainment industry, nonprofits, and community organizations. Responsibilities also included writing and production of email, social media, and paid advertising content, developing digital strategy, and reporting and data analysis.I also coordinated the promotion of our content online through our social media channels, email, our blog, and paid media advertising with key coalition partners (ACLU, Justice Action Network, Alliance for Safety and Justice, Advocates for Opioid Recovery, and many more).

I supported strategy for national media campaign called Democracy in Color and placement of Brown Is The New White on the New York Times Bestseller book list. I conducted research on red-to-blue flip opportunities in key 2016 Senate races and drafted recommendations to electoral strategy team. I also drafted blog content to bring focus to key racial justice issues in electoral politics.

The Undergraduate Students Association Council (USAC), the governing body of the Undergraduate Students Association whose membership is comprised of every UCLA undergraduate student. USAC's fourteen council members are elected by members of the Undergraduate Students Association. As President of the Undergraduate Students Association Council, I: Served as the spokesperson for Undergraduate Students Association Council (USAC), representing over 28,000 undergraduate students, and the official liaison on the UCLA Alumni Association Board of Directors, UCLA Committee on Diversity and Inclusion, and UC Council of PresidentsChaired the Undergraduate Students Association Council, the official governing body of UCLA undergraduate students consisting of 13 council membersManaged $4.1 million budget of student fees and led organization of over 1,000 volunteers and staff membersAppointed over 75 students to serve as appointees to respective campus committees responsible for allocating budgets totaling over $150 millionWorked directly with UC President and UC Regents to advocate to the state legislature for additional state revenue to support higher education, financial aid, and early academic outreach programs. I represented the university to over 1,500 individuals per year by providing knowledge in a personable, positive manner. I introduced prospective students, high school groups and private individuals to UCLA and the admissions process to apply to and attend UCLA by incorporating vibrant personality in facilitation of campus tours. I also embodied the UCLA energy and spirit to assist Undergraduate Admissions in attaining enrollment goals.
