Devin provides leadership to the firm as director of our Houston office and as a Vice President. He has been with Huckabee for over a decade and plays a key role in the firm’s strategic planning efforts. As Director of Houston, Devin is committed to quality delivery for our clients, using his background in construction and educational design to foster cooperation and collaboration between all disciplines.

Lead project team in complete, detailed documents and run structured and coordinated team during the design document phase. Responsible for scheduling, codes, budget projections, cost management and consultant coordination. Ensures that projects are well-coordinated, budgets are adhered to and schedules are met.

Integrate and Coordinate Structural, MEP, Civil documents, ext., into Architectural drawings for finalization of Construction Documents. Assist Project Owner and Construction Observer in additional items that may arise in the field while building is under construction.

Sr. Executive Director of MOREgroup’s education practice, Huckabee, and the Executive Director of our Southwest region. Throughout his decade and a half of architectural experience in education, he displayed steadfast commitment to quality delivery for clients, overseeing work on flagship projects and promoting development in his teammates. In his current roles, he develops strategy and growth across practice areas—which include education, healthcare, and public architecture—while also advocating for the needs of education architecture at the highest levels of MOREgroup. Devin believes in servant leadership. Whether he’s discussing an approach to a window detail or getting his boots dirty in the field, he serves alongside his team. He frequently relies on Collective Wisdom, bringing groups together to share approaches to similar experiences to ensure the best outcome. Devin serves on the AGC / A4LE joint board, which focuses on school districts, their facilities and operations challenges, and lending support to the architectural, engineering, and general contractor community. He’s also involved in education foundations across the education industry. He believes in giving back to students, not only through the buildings MOREgroup creates, but by spending time with the kids who use them every day.

Oversee project Submittals, Request For Information, Proposed Change Requests, OAC Meeting agendas, Meeting Minutes, Delivery Log, As-Built Drawings, Closeout Documents. Assist in schedules and Feild observation.
