1. Successfully Led a team of 4 designers, 5 supervisors, and over 250 workforces, undertaken over 35 projects related to introduction of various model(Vitara Brezza, Ignis, S-presso & Wagon-R), Process planning, material flow design, Automation of manual facilities & Capacity enhancement through de-bottlenecking of existing facilities at Press shops with budget of approx INR 620 Crore2. Capacity enhancement of Vitara Brezza & Ignis model common line from85000Veh/year to 190000Veh/year using Lean methods like Linebalancing, Kaizen, OEE etc.3. DFM for new product on UG-NX for robust product and lead the team to review Engineering Change request and implementation plan.4. Defining Project Scope, Process plan, Material flow design, Capacity planning, Product Design parameters, CTQ's, Risk Assessment with PFMEA, Monitoring, Scheduling, Progress Reporting for Execution.5. Managing Multiple Priorities, Product development stage timeline adherence, coordinating with CFT's, Change Management, Process Control plan and multiple trials with SOP of Product.6. Capex/Revex procurement of Equipment & associated auxillaries, includes Proposal preparations, RFQ through SAP, Should or Zero based costing, Negotiation and PO allocation to suppliers through ERP.7. Consumables inventory, supply chain management and cost reduction through localisation, VA/VE and alternate sourcing. Inventory management through E-Nagare, VTS & Kanban System on JIT principle.8. Manage the Sourcing strategy & overall vendor performance based on KPI's. Drive vendor selection, consultation, and overall vendor operations strategies.Pursuing localisation for cost reduction, New Supplier development. Saved approx INR 40 Crore by localisation.9. Conceptualised and developed software based API system along with IT department for tackling assembly line constraints eliminating production loss of 20 vehicles/day.
