Working as a contractor within Anglian Water’s @one Alliance, to design and build numerous clean and waste-water treatment and distribution schemes, as part of a multi-disciplined (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) engineering team.• Optimised conceptual solution through statistical analysis and interrogation of historic process data resulting in WLC savings of 20% on average. • Justified investment in schemes valued at £10+ Mil, through holistic investigation consisting of process selection, design rationale, process safety, commissioning, operation, and maintenance.• Executed the process design and optimisation for water treatment plants and water systems, resulting in a 20% increase in treatment efficiency and a 15% reduction in energy consumption. • Communicated technical concepts and solutions (as the subject matter expert) in a digestible format to secure stakeholder buy-in and project progression to meet obligation dates.• Reduced OPEX by 40% through the development of automated solutions thereby minimising manual intervention driving down process risk scores. • Spearheaded process safety systems (HAZOPs, DRAs, etc.) ensuring, regulatory compliance (CDM, Reg 26, Reg 31, Reg 5) and align-ment with internal company, H&S and environmental standards.• Strategized the commissioning of a solution to navigate the complexities of bringing a new asset ‘on-line’ alongside existing operating assets and quality assuring the process design to a contracted performance criterion. • Maintain close links with other Engineering teams to ensure smooth interfaces between disciplines; manage gaps/overlaps & share best practice.• Upward-managed issues that may impact on time/cost/ quality before they become problems or exceed agreed timescales• Review technical reports, documentation, and designs (drawings) developed by external tier 2 suppliers and ensuring that they meet the design requirements, as well as company standards in safety and operability.

Undertaking a project, in collaboration with QE hospital and Birmingham University, to carry out an impact study on breast implants (for cancer patients) - Modelling a 3-Dimensional representation of the breast implant using both AutoCAD and real-life alternatives, - Designing (using calculations) a simulation to deduce the force required to rupture during surgery, under varying impact areas.

• Developing improvements in Christ-Kennicott products under the supervision of an experienced engineer. • Performing office based research, e.g. communicating with clients via telephone, in regards to existing projects; Communicating with other businesses via telephone, for services rendered• Constructing small test rigs and gathering data. • Working with hazardous chemicals, e.g. carrying out membrane restoration • Carrying out UK site visits (Driving role), working alongside clients• Assisting in potential/current projects, to secure a potential client’s bid or update a current client of project progress (shown below)I monitored and maintained, a 6 month pretreatment pilot plant, for our clients at the Kingsnorth Power Station. There I liaised with a number of the client’s engineers, to on-site power station workers. I was responsible for the timely submission of reports (every 2 months) to the client representative which highlighted:• a log of my weekly site visits to the pilot plant, where o the jar tests were undergone in the on-site laboratory to decide whether to adjust the pilot plant's coagulant dose, o the chemical waste from the chemical backwash tank was neutralised before being emptied into the site allocated waste line. (This was done with respect to H&S - so a full body chemical suit was used, a gauntlet, a hard hat with ear defenders and visor, etc.)• The pilot plant's graphed performance with annotation, showing corresponding dates to significant occurrences• Improvements to be made and/or actions to be taken for the next 2 months, and the expectations from said improvements/actions. The pretreatment trial proved successful, with our client then hiring us to build and install the pretreatment solution at their newly built power station at another site.
