About Dev Joshi

Passionate Embedded systems engineer with a relevant academic background in this domain. I try to develop embedded devices that aim to make this world a better place to live.- π“πžπœπ‘π§π’πœπšπ₯ 𝐒𝐀𝐒π₯π₯𝐬: C, Python, MATLAB, Linux Kernel Development, Machine Learning, Embedded Linux, AUTOCAD, Bash, GIT Version Control, Object-Oriented Programming(OOPS).- πƒπžπ―πžπ₯𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬: Raspberry Pi, Arduino Uno; Mega, Adafruit Feather Sense, Node MCU, MSP430, NXP Freedom.Here are few examples of my work:- Developed "π’π¦πšπ«π­ 𝐜𝐚𝐫 ππšπ¬π‘π›π¨πšπ«π 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦" with a feature "Drowsiness detection" that can potentially reduce about 20% of car crashes by constantly monitoring the behavior of the driver.- Developed "π’πžπ§π¬π¨π« 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐭π₯𝐞 πƒπ’π¬π©π¨π¬πšπ₯ π’π²π¬π­πžπ¦" which can alleviate plastic pollution by shredding plastic bottles and, aluminum cans separately.I am currently a graduate student at UC Riverside, focusing on designing an Energy Harvester Device that runs on Sustainable Energy and detects a plethora of data from the surrounding.I get excited about opportunities where I can develop Embedded Software and Hardware using my skillsets and understanding of the field.I love connecting with new people, please reach me at djosh011@ucr.edu or on LinkedIn!
