-Ensuring accurate and complete IRB approvals and procedural documentation on a site level.-Collaborating with pharmaceutical companies (Eli Lilly, Amgen, Abbvie) to initiate migraine clinical trials at our site while adhering to institutional guidelines and regulations related to clinical research.-Administering structured tests and questionnaires according to the research study protocol.-Recruiting, consenting, screening, scheduling, tracking, and providing study updates to participants throughout the study.-Implemented the INCLUDE project to help increase diversity in migraine clinical trials by developing community outreach programs such as “pop-up clinics” within Chicago to help with the recruitment of minority populations.

-Performed multiple statistical analyses and data distribution summaries -Facilitated collaborations with local public health groups for data collection plans and research experiments.-Created and refined tables and figures for ongoing research papers based on data collected.-Wrote and reviewed a research paper on sex differences in DNA methylation and its effect on lung cancer biomarkers.-Researched, summarized, and compiled existing published literature to strengthen our current research paper.

-Researched the newest microbiology technology and provided rationale on integrating it within Lilly’s pre-existing lab framework. -Contacted various biotech company representatives to further discuss and understand their products.-Drafted weekly reports outlining the benefits and limitations, price review, and details of each researched biotech product. -Shared a final presentation showcasing my work throughout the summer.-Arranged meetings with senior faculty and supervisors to gain insight on Eli Lilly’s current lab protocols and manufacturing processes.
