I am a firm believer that a willingness to be exposed to discomfort provides the greatest opportunities for growth. Take calculated risks! Sometimes, we can't avoid the rolling boulders of obstacles that manifest in our lives, we can only brace for them in being able to manage the emotions these experiences produce. I love a good challenge that brings me the opportunity to grow! I love music of all genres! I've been an audio geek most of my life. I've spent the past 7 years as a mixing/recording engineer for artists looking to bring their projects to life! I opened a recording studio in India, and offered the skills I've developed in the recording industry since I was 16 years old! I'm an avid student of Psychology and the Cognitive Neurosciences. My long-term goal is to become a licensed clinician that aids others in discovering who they truly are as a person, in a deep manner, that is able to grow into the constant change we experience in life with a sense of humility and grace.Prior to moving to India, I worked as an assistant manager for a car maintenance shop! I was a hands-on manager who always let my employees know that I wouldn't tell them to do anything that I wouldn't do or haven't done as well. Lead by example! The team must be a cohesive unit that can be motivated upon a higher goal or meaning structure! Communication, communication, communication! This is the key to developing ANY relationship, not only at work!The past 7 years of having lived in India have revealed me to myself; my strengths and my weaknesses. My years spent in active addiction and homelessness brought me a great sense of humility. Pursuing my education reflected the bright light of my resilience and dramatically increased my feelings of self-efficacy.
