Pool World is one of the largest pool and spa companies in the Northwest. This is my second round of employment with Pool World. My current position has proven to be a good fit, given my previous employment history with the firm as well as my prior construction experience.A typical day will involve traveling to client locations, gathering the needed pictures and info for the estimate requested as well as looking for any additional items that the potential customer might be interested in. I then, return to the office and enter the information into our system. From there, I will write up detailed proposals and send them to the client for approval. After a period of time, I will follow up with the contact to see if they had any questions and attempt to sell the job. Occasionally, I will also fill in for sales or service when they are short handed. Since I've been involved with so many aspects of the company, I am a viable resource for information and try to help wherever I can. I am considered as someone that can be comfortably placed in most positions throughout the company. I am one of the key planners/designers for Pool World and I am usually very involved with the design and permitting on new pool construction as well as a design consultant on several U.S. Embassy projects. When time permits, I will also handle special projects like office and property remodel/design and other unique or difficult projects. When needed, I spend some time fixing/repairing computer and printing issues around the office. There is always something to do to help the system work smoothly.
