I had the opportunity to gain comprehensive experience across both manufacturing and finance domains. I worked closely with upstream processes like pickling, cold rolling, and annealing, as well as downstream activities such as the customization and quality control of steel coils. In addition to this technical exposure, I contributed to the finance department by analyzing production costs, preparing monthly financial reports, and managing inventory tracking for steel products. My role also involved conducting cost-benefit analyses and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and ensure precise financial reconciliation. This experience allowed me to bridge the gap between manufacturing processes and financial strategies, reinforcing my understanding of operational and financial dynamics in the steel industry.

During the internship, along with my team members, I prepared research work to be presented for an International Water Exhibition held in March 2021 which will be attended by Nordic companies. I was in the market research team and made a list of 20 companies each in wastewater, reuse of gray water, water supply, potable water, and integrated water management sector, and a list of 40 Indian companies that could be partners with those companies.
