He has studied under some of the most eminent directors of modern cinema including Martin Scorsese, Christopher Nolan, Clint Eastwood, and David Fincher.To further his education in directing for television, CBS Studios in Los Angeles allowed Devon to shadow the highly respected and talented Tony Wharmby, during the filming of the 10th season of the TV show, NCIS.Devon’s short film Practice Makes Perfect has won multiple awards, including the prestigious CINE Golden Eagle award in 2013 which had previous recipients including Spike Lee and Mike Leigh.Practice Makes Perfect gained distribution deals with Starbucks and Alaska Airlines and also received nationwide USA theatrical distribution, opening for Oscar nominated films in 2014.Devon’s short film titled One-Minute Time Machine starred Brian Dietzen (NCIS) and Erinn Hayes (Kevin Can Wait) won numerous awards at film festivals all over the world. On July 8th 2015, One-Minute Time Machine was released on YouTube, and instantly became a viral sensation with 1 million views on it's first day and 2 million in it's first week. It was the number one trending topic on Reddit and Digg and featured on news websites across the world including MTV news.One-Minute Time Machine has been re-made in several countries and translated into multiple languages, including Italian, Japanese, Russian and German. The film is also studied in numerous film schools and University courses around the world, including those in UK, USA, South Korea, Sweden and Germany.Recently, Devon directed the sci-fi action thriller feature film titled Synced. Shot on location in Scotland, Japan and the USA. This globally spanning, time travel adventure starred a large talented cast from the UK, Norway, Spain, Japan and the USA.Devon was also a producer on the feature film documentary Temple of Art, directed by world renowned photographer Allan Amato.
