Co-Wrote and received three-year grant (approx. $300,000) for mentors to serve as positive role models and provided additional resources for at risk students in the K-8 general education classroom at four school sites. On a weekly basis, case managed fifty (50) students at Santa Rosa Elementary School and Maricopa Wells Middle School as well assisted in the identification of program participants via support from school administration and teachers. Strong relationships with parents, volunteers, and community partners were sustained. Developed and collected consent forms, data collection, and reported program progress. Facilitated and provided a weekly structured one-on-one as well as a group environment to help students develop the tools to better manage behaviors and geared them towards academic success. Performed data collection, program evaluation, troubleshooting, risk management, and administrative tasks assigned by the Program Director. CPI/CPR certified technician for the ABC Program @ Santa Rosa Elementary School assisted in the identification and support of ESS students that struggle behaviorally in the K-3 general education classroom. Sustainable efforts and on-going activities were created within the classroom by establishing measurable systems and processes. In addition to managing partnerships with teachers (K-6 general education), parents, and district personnel, supported school site leadership. Operations oversight of seven afterschool program sites along with two stand-alone sites that served over 700 members. Led 30 staff members and directed operations for the 17,500 sq.ft. Raley Branch facility. Led the development of a Program Quality Manual that could be customized to meet unique needs at each site as well as delivered professional development training to all staff members. Cultivated relationships with key community stakeholders such as school district leaders and school principals, resulting in securing two additional afterschool program sites. Collaborated with site directors to establish quality programming with a specific purpose and outcome. Instituted standards where staff could gauge the impact of active programs on a daily, monthly, or annual basis, and make changes to maximize their effectiveness. Managed $600K project to build a 6,000 sq.ft. outdoor activity area, working closely with contractors, architects and community stakeholders to complete it on time and $60,000 under budget. Overhauled the Summer Program that reinforced the mission to create a safe, fun, interactive environment for youth. Summer Program attendance grew to maximum capacity with disciplinary issues decreased by 35% per a reduction in incident and behavior reports.

Assisted the military to develop the "SKIESUnlimited" Program for seven Child and Youth Services Division sites and three Boys & Girls Club facilities in six states. Collaborated with leaders to develop program enrichment, evaluation, project management, budgeting, and business plans to establish a strong foundation for the programs.

Delivered 1,000 hours of prevention curricula, instructing 200 youth in Project SUCCESS, All STARS, and Botvin's Life Skills. Reported results to Director of Community Outreach and Project Evaluator. Moderated anger and stress management support groups to aid at-risk elementary and middle school students.

Developed two-year strategic plan and recruitment strategy for the Tobacco Lifelong Challenge (TLC) Project, and advised over 70 youth and staff members to grow Youth Coalition and CHAMPS Tobacco Peer Leaders programs. Co-authored the 1999-2000 TLC Project Continuation Proposal, and won the award of $933K, and delivered monthly reports to program managers. Developed key relationships with community leaders that doubled coalition membership in the TLC Project. Chosen as Board Co-Chairperson of the Southeast Valley Tobacco Use Prevention Program in 1998.

Launched a renovated 5,000 s.f. TEENSupreme Center facility from the ground up that served over 200 members. Oversaw program objectives and training of eight staff members and volunteers, and managed annual budget of $100K. Designed and implemented recruitment and outreach programs, enrolling 200 new members in the first four months. Developed and delivered in-service training programs focused on personal empowerment, career awareness, and job skills development for 100 teen participants. Cultivated relationships with potential funding sources and local service clubs and organizations, bringing in over $150K in city funds. Selected as member of Planning Committee, for the Youth Development Conference - Pacific Region after demonstrating effectiveness as branch manager.
