I completed comprehensive assessments with adults and adolescents seeking inpatient or outpatient substance abuse and co-occurring mental health treatment in the northern Virginia area.I was engaged in crisis management work to ensure clients received treatment/referrals that were most appropriate for their needs. I advocated for client's necessity to be in an appropriate level of care and treatment setting through seeking authorization for services with his/her respective insurance companies.
