I am Kinesiology student-athlete at Cal Poly concentrating in sports science. Something I am very proud of is placing third in the big west, 2021, in the shot put competition. I am also very proud of becoming the second best hammer thrower in Cal Poly history. I have worked a lot of jobs while being a student-athlete which I believe has given me a lot of valuable skills including; effective time management, determination and grit. On top of that I have accumulated a diverse portfolio of retail, service and personal training jobs, which have strengthened my skills of communication, organization, ability to work under stress and positive customer relations. For personal training I am most proud of working for Titan Sports Performance in Santa Barbara as an intern. While there I learned a lot of valuable tools for running a business, training groups and training individuals. These skills have also been reinforced by working closely with the Cal Poly Strength and Conditioning staff as they train me for competitions.
