Developed and executed content-related activities alongside Highmark for healthcare-aligned tasks in the Western and Central regions of Pennsylvania, Delaware, and West Virginia.* AngularJS / Java / Database development - Delivered responsive intranet application for providing Highmark Senior Markets a method of creating, storing, tracking, and reporting on discussions their advocates had with members as it related to STARS rewardable activities. The development cycle was less than 2 months. * iStream/Calligo Template development (4 months) - Developed customer-aligned templates that would dynamically generate a variety of brochure and contract information for consumers. - Utilized SQL and various programmatic techniques.* WindWard Template and Database development (3 months) - Developed another product database for Highmark's internal eMarketing system. - Interacting with this database was the WindWard/AutoTag system that uses database queries to populate templates that are used within the organization, and later passed on to 3rd parties before presenting to consumers.• Health Care Reform initiatives: - Developed workflows for projects detailing audit-approved protocol for content coordination/management between Commerce/TS. - Designed, created, and modified product catalogue documents. Assisted BIs and BAs in organizing and executing catalogue creation. - Developed a product catalogue, working with Highmark/IBM, used by the Commerce/TeamSite systems to pull product info stored as .CSVs. - Complementing the database, another product database was created to gathering pricing information. - Aided Highmark and IBM in deploying Commerce’s out-of-the-box functionality in order to complete the the database integration. Also, became familiar with the workings of Commerce to present customer-specific information. - Finally, implemented custom-content manager Teamsite after it was abandoned by another consultant firm.

Job was primarily observation/hands-on obligations related to network functionality, ballpark communications, thin-client swapping, and variety of other tasks. During the 120+ hour internship period I applied my knowledge of networking to help extend the wireless coverage to almost all portions of the stadium, helped fix problems related with our CallPilot software that controlled our VoIP phone and voicemail system, took part in basic maintenance of employees computers and fax machines in all parts of the stadium, and created a few kiosk-machines using Microsoft XP OS for purposes of FedEx delivery and local weather information. The experience left me with greater understanding of how a corporate environment interacts with all the branches of its activity.
