Currently teaching Science & Math 8 at Dover Bay Secondary, Eco Club assistant sponsor teacher, and Badminton Team sponsor teacher. Devon graduated from Vancouver Island University's post-baccalaureate Secondary Education program in January 2017. In 2014 Devon graduated from VIU with a bachelor of science, with minors in Chemistry and Mathematics.Devon also works as a Mathematics tutor with students at levels ranging from elementary to high school through to 1st year university.While in university she was an active member of VIU's science community through work as a tutor in both chemistry and math, organizing review sessions and social events while serving on the VIU Math Club exuctive team, and as a member of the Chemistry Club. In her final year of studies, she did research towards the synthesis of an organic compound. In the past she's volunteered extensively as a youth mentor in a range of roles, and she enjoys spending time outdoors and crafting.
