I am a Machine Learning Engineer specialising in computer vision and lightweight generative models. I am an avid problem solver who loves getting involved with anything that helps drive engineering based products. My current work focuses on optimising model size and runtime, making them suitable for deployment on devices with limited compute. I have extensive hands-on experience in training deep learning models, from setting up cloud devices to managing model training experimentation. My goal is to streamline the engineering feedback loop, enabling rapid prototyping and efficient iteration. My role allows me to dive deep into the intricacies of model training, ensuring that every iteration brings us closer to more refined solutions to whatever engineering problem is on the table.In my previous role as a Data and Systems Analyst at Halter, I worked closely with product teams to drive data-based decision-making. I was instrumental in developing feedback loops and dashboards that supported engineers in validating product changes and new features. This experience has given me a solid foundation in data science and a keen understanding of the product development lifecycle.Beyond work, I have a deep interest in the application of machine learning and statistics in sports, continually exploring how data can transform performance and strategy.
