At the front counter, I distribute medications to patients, focusing primarily on patient satisfaction, accuracy, and efficiency. In addition, I've packaged and labeled medications, performed audit counts on inventory, and processed prescriptions through our medical records from various sources, including paper scripts, phone calls, and electronic requests. While in these areas, I focus on efficiency and accuracy, especially in regards to the medication being filled and the data for the patient's records. I have also helped to administer systems to make the pharmacy more efficient and track medications that are going expire. In addition, I have also arranged deliveries and completed orders, as well as restocking medications and over the counter items.

My responsibilities were to count inventory and record values of counted merchandise. I also helped to locate and resolve discrepancies. I learned how to quickly apply basic math and counting skills, in addition to learning how to count inventory using a machine.

I was responsible for calling and arranging deliveries, checking customers out, interacting with multiple pharmacy machines, packaging medications, and stocking the pharmacy and OTC shelves. At this position, I learned phone etiquette, how to interact with customers in a community environment, the basic functions of pharmacy, and how to work effectively in a group dependent environment.

While I was at this position, I sold parking tickets, answered questions for guests, and helped with accommodations at the toll plaza. I was also managed the employee gate and directed RVs and buses while at toll plaza. At the Oceans of Fun gate, I sold a variety of tickets, passes, and meal plans while I answered questions. I learned how to complete transactions quickly and effectively, manage time, and how to interact with customers through interactions to make the process as efficient as possible.
