- Maintains the data in the corporate GIS mapping system through the addition, deletion and modification of facility information using as-builts, field sketches and work orders.-Prepares detailed proposal and construction drawings as required using computer aided design software (i.e. Construction & Growth, Utility Services, Stations Measurement & Corrosion Operations, etc.). Prepares estimates for New Business, Replacement or Reinforcement projects (mains, services, stations).-Co-ordinate municipal, highway, railway & right-of-way processes including specific drawings as required to secure easement and consent to construct.-Complete field work for cost estimates, permits, measurements, etc.-Interact with internal departments as required (i.e. Distribution Planning, Mapping Services, Transmission Planning, Materials Management, Operations Engineering, Land, etc.)-Creates standard and ad hoc plots, maps and work packages for general and specific district activities (i.e. leak, Corrosion, Depth of Cover, Class Location).-Update record management and filing systems with paper and/or digital information.-Assists with improving data integrity in corporate information systems (i.e. CARS, GIS, Banner, etc.).-Support for Utility Services/Construction during emergency situations (i.e.: line breaks)

•Worked in Intergraph’s G/Designer application as well as Microstation and GeoMedia in order to assist in improving data integrity through the corporate information system. •Continuing involvement in data mining, analysis and data quality improvement plans through GeoMedia queries and pipeline connectivity issues. •Importing DwG. files to update Ontario’s First Nation boundaries through GeoMedia and Microstation software.•Updated record management and filing systems with Easement blueprints and digital information. •File/data management, demonstrating reliable and great working habits while assisting other sections with GIS applications and projects.
