For my main duties I worked as an insurance specialist. I would go through upcoming appointments and check each patient for active insurance and vision/medical eligibility. I would then contact patients that didn’t have active coverage or that had already used their benefits and weren’t eligible. I would help patients to the best of my ability with any scheduling issues, medical questions, and insurance questions that they had. I also worked closely with these insurance agencies to understand and get the best out of a patients benefits.

I passed OSUT (one stage unit training) with a high enough Physical and Intelligence score that I was offered a position with the 75th Ranger Regiment. After I accepted their offer I passed Airborne School and RASP (Ranger Assessment and Selection Program). I was stationed at Fort Benning, GA with 3rd Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment. I was trained to excellence in multiple special operations designated scenarios, which I’m not allowed to disclose. I was also trained to manage the logistical, operational, and financial situations of a premier fighting force. I’ve had 3 combat deployments all to Afghanistan, where I was an integral part of the mission. I was honorably discharged at the end of my contract in 2015.
